Born in Arizona, Robin Tung grew up in Taiwan and California. Her writing has been featured or is forthcoming in Aquifer/The Florida Review Online, Baltimore Review, Black Warrior Review, Literary Matters, NANO Fiction, Sugar House Review, The Notre Dame Review, and Valparaiso Poetry Review among others. She is the recipient of the Milton Saier Award in Fiction (2006) and winner of The Baltimore Review Winter Fiction Contest (2022). She was a former contributor to Daily Serving, an international contemporary arts platform, and has published art reviews in Art Practical, INK Magazine, The Montreal Review, and Surface Magazine. She is a graduate of UC San Diego (B.A.) and the Johns Hopkins University (M.F.A.).

She works as a communications professional in building decarbonization. She and her daughter live in Los Angeles where they loaf around and eat shaved ice.
